Salary: £21,885-£25,133 – role dependant

Hours: 37.5 hours compromising of shifts with a rolling rota
Typical shift pattern – 5 days a week over 7 days rota (including weekends) between 7am and 10pm.

Evolve Housing + Support is a leading homelessness charity in London, providing housing and support to over 1,300 people each year. Evolve offers support tailored to meet people’s individual needs, including housing, employment and skills training, mentoring and counselling.
We are offering a number of support worker and support assistant roles across our supported housing services in Croydon & Crystal Palace, working with both young adults and those aged 25 years and older. Successful applicants will be placed in one of our services and will work with the customers who live there, to help them to reach their potential and improve their quality of life. The role will build on customer care, health and safety, flexibility, adaptability and other skills to assist homeless individuals who are unable to live independently, by offering them the practical and emotional support they need to regain their independence.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, approachable and empathic individuals who can support vulnerable people to achieve independent living. Whilst experience would be desirable, we are more interested in individuals who show a passion for helping others, and who show an understanding of the reasons why people become homeless, and the needs and challenges that they face. A full induction and training programme is in place. The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of safeguarding and how this is applied in day-to-day situations.
