An opportunity has arisen for you to join the dedicated team at a school in the Saltley area as a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis!
You can commute easily from Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Duddleston, Nechells, Ward End and Central Birmingham and you will be joining a school whose core beliefs are thinking big, doing the right thing and showing team spirit, do these match yours?
What will you be doing?
· Providing motivation and guidance to help pupils overcome obstacles in their learning
· Offering 1:1 support
· Coach students on a wide range of academic and pastoral topics
· Working in small groups with children who need additional support
You will be able to start in the role immediately on a full-time basis where you will be paid £70 – £80 per day dependent on experience.
About you:
You will have knowledge on the school curriculum and learning stages and hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning. Beneficial traits for this role include patience, drive and approachability.
Ideally you will have an in-date DBS registered to the update service; if you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.
